"Like most of those who come to Care Counseling Center (CCC), I had been state-mandated, and
like most, I had a serendipitous outlook on what I would experience at that point. I expected the worst!
Folks, I can say, unequivocally, that CCC has been one of the most uplifting and edifying
experiences that I have had in some time.
I have been at CCC much longer than most, so I have got to observe the REAL quality and
character of the program and its elements. It’s said that “A closed mouth does not get fed”. This is as
true an epigram as has ever been uttered. These folks react immediately to requests for assistance, and
when they detect that help is needed, spring into action immediately. If it is a situation in which they see
is beyond their capacity, they readily direct a client to a suitable provider.
I have been here to the extent that CCC has become a second family or extended family to me.
And with the workers being so familiar with certain aspects of my situation (i.e., health problems,
addiction, family, etc.), they were there when they were needed. They have always exhibited patience,
empathy, servitude, and understanding, which are necessary elements when helping people in recovery.
I would recommend CCC to anyone facing challenges in their life – it can be a “breath of fresh
air”. All I can say is: If it’s necessary to find a new path, try Care Counseling Center – you may find it a
rewarding experience. If one follows their well-designed programs, there will be a positive, and ever-
motivating outcome, PERIOD!"
